The Government of Canada requested leave to have a portion of the testimony from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre (ITAC) received in the absence of the public. Given the nature and content of the Government’s request, that request was received and considered by the Commissioner ex parte. The CSIS / ITAC witnesses will also be examined in the public portion of the hearing.
